Welcome to Welcome to my website. I am a San Francisco Bay Area Artist, living and creating art in Benicia, CA. The focus of my work is to find beauty in ordinary buildings and signs and to emphasize the lines, shapes, and textures on those structures that often go unnoticed. I use buildings and signs as a vehicle to create design and composition within my format and add splashy color to make sure these buildings, landmarks, and locations are noticed.
Check out the different places on my website that I've painted throughout Northern California. In 2018 I'm planning to set my "sites" further south into Carmel and Southern California looking for additional, familiar and unfamiliar local landmarks to recreate in acrylic and watercolor. And I will continue to enjoy painting special locations for individuals, organizations, and businesses on commission. My continued hope in 2018 is that my paintings bring fond memories and smiles to you, your family and friends.
