Donna Covey is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area splitting her time living in Benicia, California and in the Sierra Nevada town of Truckee. Although she has a degree in Art, she only began creating watercolor and acrylic paintings about five years ago.

Buoyed by rediscovering her artist talents, what started as a hobby has blossomed into a new career.

She will tell you the focus of her painting is to "find and enhance - with splashy color - the beauty of existing buildings and signs and include a little whimsy in the process."
