Grippi's Gas Station
Grippi's Gas Station, Watercolor, 16" X 16"
About Grippi's Gas Station
As a child from 1949 until 1960 I lived in the Napa neighborhood of Stonecrest, just off of the Silverado Trail. My mother and father built our little house at the end of Acacia Avenue in Stonecrest in 1949.
I often drive past my former home remembering the old neighborhood and included in my memories are those of Grippi's Gas Station at the bottom of Stonecrest Drive on Silverado Trail. I recall many trips to Grippi's, not so much for gas, but to purchase items - okay, candy - in the convenience store inside.
The original painting, giclees, and art prints are available.
