About Open For Business
For as long as I can remember The Pioneer Fruit Stand along Suisun Valley Road sold delicious produce including the first white corn ever available in Suisun Valley. Customers not only included our family, and other Suisun Valley families, but visitors who passed through from the Bay Area heading to Lake Berryessa. Today, at the site of the old Pioneer Fruit Stand, the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative, with its wooden "OPEN" sign displayed outside, operates a lovely tasting room for six of the Suisun Valley's finest wineries.
Special note: the painting "Open For Business" received an Honorable Mention Award at the FVAA's 47th Annual Regional Juried Art Show.
