About Sodini's Trattoria
In preparing to create my North Beach Neighborhood Series, I took what seemed like a million pictures of the many incredibly interesting, colorful, and yes, some "kinda" colorful buildings in the neighborhood.
Sodini's Trattoria stood out for me as a colorful location that was an absolute must to paint.
And as much as I love the outside of the building with it's green and black tiles and the marquee awnings welcoming you to come inside, I really, really loved the cozy family-run atmosphere inside - especially Ana, the bartender extraodinaire. She made us feel so welcome that we decided to eat dinner at the bar so we could continue enjoying her company and the ambiance that she added to this wonderful restuarant.
