About Truckee Hotel
Long before John and I bought our home in Tahoe Donner, we stayed at the charming and historic Truckee Hotel located on Bridge Street in downtown Truckee. The rooms are filled with antiques and some even have old-fashioned clawfoot bathtubs.
What is especially "authentic" and somewhat disconcerting for the infrequent overnight visitor is the very loud sounds in the middle of the night of the railroad running right across the street. Also, I can't forget to mention the sounds of ghosts that reportedly haunt and take up residence in the hotel building along with many other buildings (including Art Obsessions Building) in downtown Truckee.
You can contact Art Obsessions Gallery to inquire about Truckee Hotel and other paintings hanging in their gallery.
